Lynnwood is the final northern suburb of greater Seattle. It is the pleasant home to many professionals who work in Seattle. The city has a very wet climate, even wetter than that of Seattle, which makes the city very green and flush with vegetation. There is also great shopping in Lynnwood at the Alderwood Mall.

Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour
The center features several learning zones with interactive computer stations that let visitors design and test their own aircraft using software similar to that used by Boeing engineers. A four-story-high tail section from a 747 Jumbo Jet is one of the most impressive items visitors can see. Changing displays show off the latest technology and materials from various aerospace companies. Tours of Boeing's commercial jet assembly plant depart from the aviation center and allow visitors to watch airplanesincluding 747s, 767s, 777s and, in the near future, 787sbeing manufactured and tested.
